Golf League Expert Help

How To Use This Site

This page explains the main setup flow, weekly workflow, rule options, and scoring settings that are currently built into Golf League Expert.

Quick Start

1

Create your league

Start with league name, season year, course details, handicap setup, and whether the league should be public or private.

2

Load rules and scoring options

Use the rules editor to choose stroke play or head-to-head, handicap allowance, position rounds, year-end scramble event settings, and side-game notes.

3

Add players and teams

Enter player names, starting handicaps, tee colors, and for Georgetown-style leagues assign team number and team rank.

4

Build the schedule

Create weeks manually, generate the season calendar for any league, or generate matchup schedules when the format supports it.

5

Enter scores each week

Use the matchup groups for head-to-head weeks, assign a weekly scorekeeper if needed, and keep scores updated hole by hole.

6

Calculate, review, and lock

When scores are complete, calculate standings, confirm the weekly results, and lock the week to finalize season standings.
